But this was a real book, 275 pages, printed in several editions. Check out the chapter on the not-yet iconic Stonewall Inn. PDF

This NYC travel guide was first issued in 1968, not sure how many were done. A typical bar/bath tourist listing. Of particular interest is a Spring 1969 not-so-glowing listing for the Stonewall Inn.

This is Not an amusing book. I have included a scan of the first 75 pages as an example of what some 'thought' was 'gay humor.' I wonder if there was anyone gay actually responsible for it.
