Club 2020 was a popular Houston Black gay dance bar,
from 2006 until Oct 2017, when the bar changed location and names, to Club L2

   

   

Using the internet wayback machine I have reason to
believe at least the website began in 2007

and I was able to retrieve this post saying it opened in 2006

These ads were compiled from the Facebook page for the two bars,
by scrolling back (and scrolling, and scrolling...) The one above
was the olded dated entry and below the earliest ad still posted,
from 6/23/12.

This history is difficult to retrieve, as the Black bars often did not advertise in the gay press.
