The Brasserie was a popular restaurant
from around 1978 through 1983

When I first moved to Houston my apartment was on
Garrott, just a few blocks away, so I was very fond
of the Brasserie.

And, in May 1982it moved locations...

Oddly, I do not remember it at this location at all...
it was next door to the Montrose Pub

The W Alabama location became a catering business, Mandola's
