Gay & Lesbian Archives of Texas

...began in Fort Worth by Charles Gillis and Ken Cyr

when they moved to Houston they brought it with them,
and it was kept in a room of Gillis' bookstore Wilde-n-Stein.

When it got too large it was turned over to Integrity (Interact)

1979

and, almost the same letter, in TWT

1982

I have a large section on Integrity, and the Archives are
often mentioned in their newsletters and clippings

1983

at the same time MCC (Metropolitan Community Church) had started a library, and Charles Botts was facilitating that.
The two archives merged, and when Botts died in 1994 Larry Criscione took over the task, which continued until
2012, when the church decided it need that space.
