Below, logo change done in June 2019, which oddly is the first to omit "GLBT"
It took 30 years to add the "B" & "T" and now they omit all the letters...at least in the logo.

Some History...

It is likely that it was at the August 1987 Board Meeting
when the name was changed to HGLPC

"Newly Named......" HGLPC

In 1990 a long discussion was held regarding adding the "B" and "T,"
which was defeated

"transgenderals"?

opinions vary...

The "T" (and "B") question was debated again, in the Caucus newsletter in May 1995

In July 1999 the Caucus added the "B" and "T" to its mission statement, but not yet in its name

I have not yet found a press release or news article announcing the Caucus name change, adding the B & T,
but these two meeting agendas document when it occurred, finalized at the April 6 2005 meeting.

The above images are to show the adoption of a new logo, with it first
appearing in a 3/16/16 Facebook post. Though it appears there is some
inconsistancy with its use.....note it says "LGBT" and in the current
Facebook profile image it's "GLBT," the official name designation.
The "LGBT" version appeared on FB all through 2016 and as
late as September of 2017, before switching to "GLBT."
