Community Alliance of Houston

The organization Community Alliance of Houston was formed in late 1987, with apparently
the same mission as the GPC. I do not know what the political climate was then that would
lead to the idea that two groups were needed, but the CAH newsletter below outlines the
positions. Marion Coleman was the first President. I do not know if the organization lasted
past 1990, and it is difficult to research due to its very generic name. The last mention in
TWT was late 1990. If you have more information please contact me.
