A Place in the Sun

Around 1983 "A Place in the Sun" at 704 Fairview (caddy-corner from George's)
was a gathering place for artists, musicians, poets, and, oh yeah, lesbians.

Founded by Gracie Lee and Lynn Herrick...they were the Gracielynn act mentioned,
a "dyke-namic duo." Rev Gracie Lee recently passed away. She's shown below in a
1986 TWT photo.
